I joined Skits during quarantine and slowly fell in love with its mission of making STEM education more accessible. Teaching is something that is very special to me and I've learned a lot as a tutor, teacher's assistant, and teacher of the STEM Immersion Program. If you have any questions about Skits, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!

I’ve been involved in Skits as a tutor and cabinet member before, and I really like its mission to promote STEM education for youth. I wanted to apply for cabinet because I wanted to be involved in the planning of our events through ways such as making graphics, helping plan the STEM Immersion Program, and designing the website!

I am excited to serve on the Skits board for the 2024-2025 term! I have participated in the STEM Immersion Program as a tutor, where I discovered my passion for teaching young students. As part of the board, I hope to play a role in expanding and improving the programs.
Director of STEM Immersion Programs
Stephanie Lin
Hello! My name is Stephanie Lin and I am a sophmore at Whitney High School. My favorite STEM subject would be biology because I find it interesting to learn about the little things inside organisms that create the world around us. I first started my experience with Skits as a student of their Stem Immersion Program during the summer of the pandemic. These classes gave me the inspiration to give back to the community by providing accessible science education to younger children, like myself, at the time. After tutoring with Skits, I decided to become one of the Director of STEM Immersion Programs in hopes of making a greater impact within our community!
Director of Public Relations

The Science Kits are my favorite part of SKITS, and aspiring the younger generation to be immersed in STEM encouraged me to apply for cabinet. I often work with children and I believe introducing them to STEM can inspiring them to learn more about STEM. I’m so excited to work with 23’-24’ SKITS cabinet!

I joined SKITS as a tutor and teacher assistant and I really enjoyed teaching the younger students. It was great to see how SKITS was able to provide such a fun environment for younger children to help them explore their love for STEM. Teaching younger students was such a fulfilling role so I wanted to join SKITS cabinet to give back to the community!
SIP Co-director

I first joined Skits as a teacher in the STEM Immersion Program. The experience was really fun and fulfilling, as I saw many younger students begin to grow a passion for STEM subjects. Participating in Skits is an amazing opportunity, and I look forward to being a part of this year's cabby!

It would take an Olympic boxer about 800 punches to cook a chicken.

Although most pomeranians are between 4-7 pounds, my pom is almost thrice that -- making him a throwback pom.
