Meet The Team
President
Reema Dawar
Hello! I'm Reema and I’m a senior at Whitney High School. I co-founded Skits with my friend because we saw the need for hands-on science to be taught to the youth within our community, and I’m proud to be now leading this organization that has induced a love for learning within both our volunteers and our students. I’ve seen Skits grow from a board of three members and students from only one elementary school to reaching dozens of school districts and expanding to other states! Last year I was Vice President of Marketing and Fundraising for Skits. Some of my hobbies include reading, badminton, and baking. I am a competitive chess player.
VP of Outreach
Max Peng
Hello Science enthusiasts! My name is Max Peng, and I am a senior at Gretchen Whitney High School. After tutoring students with Skits over the past year, I wanted to take the next step and continue bringing accessible science education to younger students by directing and leading the STEM Immersion Program. As a science enthusiast myself, working with Skits to help drive STEM education and passion in our local community has been a wonderful experience. A fun fact about myself is that I swear by pouring milk before cereal!
Director of Technology
Zoey Ji
My name is Zoey Ji and I’m in tenth grade at Whitney High School! Something fun about me is that I do Chinese classical dance, which is a hobby I have done since I was about five years old. In addition, I like to do competition math and I try to improve at it during my free time. I decided to join the Skits board because I was a tutor during the summer of 2020 and really enjoyed that experience, leading to my motivation to apply. I also enjoy STEM and hope to pursue a STEM-oriented career in the future. STEM is what Skits mainly promotes and revolves around, so I didn’t want to miss out on being part of its board!

It would take an Olympic boxer about 800 punches to cook a chicken.

Although most pomeranians are between 4-7 pounds, my pom is almost thrice that -- making him a throwback pom.
