Skits is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, dedicated to educating young kids on everything STEM-related. Started by a group of ambitious and hardworking students at Whitney High School, Skits was created to be an outlet of creativity and help for elementary students.
Over the past two years, we have done numerous things. When we first started, we created an online tutoring service to guide elementary students during the virtual times. These sessions were a success, having children leave with bright faces and curious minds! Eager to connect again with these students, we made a hands-on STEM class called “Discovery Lab”, where we teach kids basic science topics while giving them fun projects to solidify the concepts. All in all, Skits have come a long way from where they started, and we are excited to keep expanding our horizons.
